archival discovery

NFA Journal Article published and a review published this week!

I’m thrilled that the NFA Journal published my article on Beryl Rubinstein and the archival discovery of a “new” flute concerto this week! If you’re a member of the NFA, you can find it here: https://flutistquarterly.org/beryl-rubinstein-lost-concerto/ There is also a review of the newly published Sonata https://flutistquarterly.org/reviews-fall-2026/ If you’re not a member, email me and I’ll send it your way.

Looking very forward to the April 4, 2027 2pm World Premiere with the Cleveland Chamber Symphony at the Maltz Performing Arts Center , , in partnership with Congregation Mishkan Or. This concert will be free to the public and live-streamed. Written at a time when there was very little being written for the flute (WWII Years), we are thrilled to be adding this wonderful piece to the repertoire.

Renowned orchestrator Dan DeLange is completing the work, if you would like to help bring this piece to life, please consider a donation of any amount. https://giving.gofundme.com/campaign/815098/donate
