Mary Kay Robinson has been described as ”a hugely talented soloist, dazzling virtuosity”. She has concertized throughout the world on Flute and Piccolo and recorded to great acclaim. She is an active soloist, orchestral and chamber musician, teacher and coach in the Ohio, New York and New England areas. She frequently perfoms with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Detroit Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, New Hampshire Music Festival and Cleveland Orchestra. She founded the award winning Panorámicos mixed chamber ensemble, whose recordings have earned rave reviews, including “Top pick of North America”, Gramophone Magazine. She is a uniquely versatile flutist and musician, who performs on all the instruments in the flute family, as well as all genres of music.
As a chamber musician, Flutist Mary Kay Robinson has collaborated with many distinguished artists and composers from around the country in the New Hampshire Music Festival, ChamberFest Cleveland, the Grand Teton Festival with colleagues from the Cleveland Orchestra, San Fransisco Symphony, Boston Pops, Columbus Symphony, Kronos Quartet, Dog Cove Quartet the Cleveland Institute of Music and Oberlin Conservatory.
